TROUBLESHOOTING

    • The Gogogate2 App shows the garage door always open regardless of its real status (i.e. closed).
    • The green STATUS light on my Gogogate2 device is not blinking any more. I only see a steady red light.

    In case your green STATUS light does not blink any more after some time using Gogogate2, means your SD card got corrupted. This can happen when:

     

    • Your house suffers a power outtage
    • Product is used intensively in a short period of time
    • Product is re-programmed multiple times

     

    In case this happens, please contact our support team at support@gogogate.com. They will provide you with instructions to get it fixed quickly and securely.

    • Remote Access Error: To enable Remote Access you need an Internet connection.
    • I have not received an activation code for my Video/User Plugin

    With the purchase of a plugin you should receive an email with the activation code, but sometimes it gets blocked by spam filters.

    Please, check if the email is in your spam folder.

    If you have not received the activation code, please contact our support team at support@gogogate.com and send them your order ID, they will re-send you the activation code.

    • Lost or forgot Gogogate2 admin password

    The login name for the administrator account is always "admin" (without " ")

    The Password was created during the installation.

    Please be aware that login and password are case sensitive!

     

    OPTION 1:

    Open Gogogate 2 App -> EDIT -> INFO -> Here you will be able to see the length of your current password.

    This might help you remember your password.

     

    OPTION 2:

    If you forgot your password, RESET the Gogogate2 to FACTORY DEFAULTS by pressing the RESET button until you hear 2 beeps. After that you will need to set up again your Gogogate2.
